Introduction
This web site, when developed, aims to provide a focus for locating examples of and information relating to English Traditional Music. In order to isolate what is meant by both 'English' and 'Traditional' it will be necessary to provide some definition as both terms are likely to be contentious. However, there is a wealth of music and song which can be found in and around England and this site is intending to showcase some of it, in the absence of any government funded archive.
